Socials

We're having a very good time at the moment with a lot of activities and socials. When Hilary was expecting Simon she was on a forum for mums-to-be due to the same month. So because all these children were born in December and because some other mums and their children are living around Bedford, Simon and Hilary (and me sometimes) have been invited to severa birthday parties.
Although Simon is not old enough to play with other children, he likes these parties. Yesterday I told him that he was going to another party and his answer or his comment was "cake" because parties are good opportunities to eat a lot of cakes.

And because we're in the Advent period, we've been invited to parties and other
social gatherings which often involve mince pies and mulled wine. Today we went to our neighbour to listen to some carols which was really nice. Last Saturday, Simon and us were invited to the Christmas party for children living in the village. Simon really liked the food and spent some time dancing to the music. But he didn't really like the father Christmas. So we're very busy and Simon seems to like all these events.

PS: we also spent quite some time preparing the birth of number 2. We have to meeting with an NCT counsellor and we went twice to the hospital yesterday for a scan and a tour of the delivery suite and postnatal ward.
